Eclectic Competitions Rules .....

The Eclectic competitions will be decided by the "Most Stableford points a players scores on each hole" which then will be used to calculate his or hers best 18-hole Stableford score. The Winter Eclectic competition will run from the beginning of October to the end of March, and the Summer Eclectic from the beginning April to the end of September with all competition scores counting in all qualifying competitions were handicap conditions apply.

COUNTBACK is the players' score over last 9 holes, then over last 6 holes, then over last 3 holes and finally last hole score only (from their best scores combined together), used to resolve ties.

Will players please note that all Medal rounds are converted into Stableford points for handicap purposes and their Stableford scores from all Medal competitions will count towards their "Eclectic" scores.

So it is important to remember if any player who has a ‘bad’ score on a hole(s) or does not complete a hole(s), for any reason, to continue to record a score on subsequent holes as his score could still counted towards his or hers "Eclectic" scores, thus sustaining his or hers golfing interest and at the same time providing useful handicap information.
